After careful thought regarding the new CDC and State of IL guidance on COVID-19, we have made the decision to change some of our COVID-19 restrictions. Starting February 28, 2022 we will still be allowing pet owners to come in with their pet. Since the State of Illinois has lifted the mask mandate, we will not be requiring clients to wear a facemask indoors. However, we will be following the DuPage County recommendations as follows:
Masking when it is appropriate. People who are COVID-19 cases or close contacts and are completing quarantine or isolation on day 6 after 5 days of isolation or quarantine respectively, should wear masks on days 6 through 10. Staying home when sick: stay home when they are sick and seek medical care as needed, promote cough and sneeze etiquette, and hand hygiene.
Please let us know if you are not feeling well. We will let you know how we can best accommodate your appointment.
We will still honor anyone wanting to keep their doctor appointment curbside. Please inform us of your wish to do so when scheduling your appointment. If there are any further changes, we will make sure to keep you informed on our website and Facebook page. Please do not hesitate to contact our office to schedule an appointment.
For medication and food needs, we are still offering the option for you to prepay and call for pick up from our parking lot. We do also have our online pharmacy Vetsource, which you may also use to order online.
Just as a reminder, we are accepting nail trim and spa bath appointments, and our boarding services are also open, providing your pet meets the requirements for boarding.
We are experiencing a heavy volume of phone calls and are doing our best to help in a timely manner. If you are here, please do not leave a message, please keep trying to get through by phone. If it is not an emergency or you are not here for an appointment, we do ask that you leave us a message or send an email to ipahvetappointments@gmail.com. We have staff closely monitoring both.
We appreciate your cooperation and continued trust in providing the best quality of care to your pets.
Be Well!
